DoseDone Privacy Policy

DoseDone is a medication-reminder app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Always review medication details and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

This Privacy Policy explains how Nuviro Labs handles information when you use DoseDone.

Information we process

Depending on the features you choose to use, DoseDone may process Google account information such as your name, email address and account ID; medication names, doses, schedules, reminders, notes and dose records; prescription or medicine photos; typed medication details and speech transcripts; and technical, usage and support information.

How we use information

We use this information to provide sign-in, medication reminders, schedule management, AI-assisted prescription and schedule features, support, security, troubleshooting and product improvement.

Medication schedules and reminder data are stored primarily on your device.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In for account sign-in. When you choose an AI-assisted prescription or schedule feature, DoseDone sends the information needed for that request, such as a prescription image, medication text or a speech transcript, to Google Gemini for processing. Nuviro Labs uses a billing-enabled Gemini project.

When analytics is enabled in the version of DoseDone you use, we use PostHog for technical and product-usage analytics. This may include app interactions, device and app information, feature-use events, errors, your account email address and user ID. We do not send prescription images, medication names or health-note contents to PostHog.

We do not sell personal or health information, and we do not use health information for advertising or targeted advertising. Our service providers may process data to provide their services, maintain security or comply with law. Data may be processed outside India subject to the providers' applicable safeguards and terms.

Permissions

DoseDone requests camera access only to photograph a prescription or medicine package, microphone access only to capture spoken medication information, and notification access only to deliver reminders. You may decline or revoke permissions in your device settings; the related feature may then be unavailable.

Retention and deletion

Local medication data remains on your device until you delete it, log out or uninstall DoseDone. Account information remains in Firebase while your account is active. AI request data and analytics data are retained according to the relevant provider's practices; DoseDone configures analytics retention for no longer than 12 months.

To request deletion of your DoseDone account and associated data, email hello@nuvirolabs.com with the subject line “DoseDone Account Deletion.” We will verify the request, delete data under our control and initiate deletion with relevant service providers. Limited data may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. Data sent between DoseDone and its service providers is transmitted using HTTPS.

Children

DoseDone is not directed to children under 13.
